beautiful Flagstaff...

I am only here until tomorrow evening. We hiked up the San Francisco Peaks today. The weather is so beautiful. My brother-in-law bought land up here and we came to see it. He has an incredible view of the peaks from his property. The San Francisco Peaks are very special to the Hopi people. The Kachina spirits reside here for 6 months of the year (from July until February). The rest of the year the are up on the Hopi Reservation. You can really feel the power of the "spirts" being up on the mountain right now. The mountain is so magical. Tomorrow we are going to look at houses that have a view of the peaks. The idea of moving here is, of course, a romantic notion and at this time not very pracitical. It is however, a fun dream.

: We will be back home Sunday evening. I didn't realize you lived in Phoenix. It would have been fun to meet. Maybe next time.

Hi Ayesha,

a meeting would have been fun for sure! Well, whenever you'll be nearby again, let me know! Flagstaff is a beautiful place indeed, I love that area too! Dry, clean air and the change of seasons... the colours are beyond comparison, that red soil, pastel green grass, and bright blue sky! And the smell of the pines... Aah, getting carried away here...

Down here, we still wear shorts every day...
