Well now, I don't know if it originated from here, but I know Brits are certainly said to EAT it! I know that they give it to babies, as a 'trainer' food - get them used to 'real' food. (Argh!!) But to be honest, I don't know of any 'grown-ups' that eat it!!

I DO know that many Aussies eat it, though, poor misguided folks!! It's what comes from not voting to become a Republic!! :o)
