Sir ---

I regret to inform you that early this morn',
whilst transporting the prisoner Satan's Toe
to the stockade at Fort Niagara,
the escorting party was be set upon by an
angry swarm of bees...

In the confusion of much stinging and swatting
of these nasty little buggers, said prisoner of
the Crown was able to escape into the fog
along the river bank...

I regret the loss of the prisoner, and that the escorting
party could not immediately follow-up in pursuit,
it was not from want of trying, I assure you,
but their eyes were swollen shut from the presistant
stings of these nasty little creatures...

A tracking party has been sent out, post-haste,
but I fear its for nought, as a misting rain has
settled upon the region and no doubt will wash
away all trace of the miscreant...

I humbly remain,
YOS ---

Captain Campbell
60th Light Infantry
