From the dearth of posts lately, I was beginning to wonder if I were the ONLY one jumping up and down in eager anticipation! Where ARE you fellow attendees? Anyone else going crazy trying to decide what to pack and where to fit it all? And what to wear where? And why this last couple of days is taking SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long to get by so we can hit the road? Come on...post a bit, and let us hear what's up!

: MMMM

Marcia, sorry I couldn't post sooner -I was too busy making lists and jumping up and down in eager anticipation of the coming week. Cecelia and I HAVE to stop in Myrtle Beach for a few days before heading that way. Normally, I'd be thrilled to spend a couple of days at the beach( it will seem like "days and days" ), but it pales in comparison to the following 4 days. So, talk about packing - we have to take stuff for the beach as well as the mountains and pre-teen daughter stuff too for the first leg of the trip.

I've been feverishly searching for my Huron Village pictures that we took in 1993. I've moved twice seen then and had accumulated boxes and boxes of STUFF! I spent all day Saturday (10hours) going through boxes and bags and cartons looking for those x@*$@&* pictures and feeling so forelorn when my search turned up empty :-( Then, Sunday morning I'm laying in bed ( that's where I solve all the world's problems, ya know) thinking of all the places I could have put them, and wondering "Could I have put them in a photo album? - Nah, that would be too obvious and totally unlike me. But low and behold, smack dab in the middle of photos from a Hawaii trip there they were!!! Go figure - maybe it was the native peoples theme or trips with my friends theme, I don't know. Anyway, Rich and Elaine - I FOUND THEM!!!!!

We'll be leaving MB around 12Noon and then heading to Hickory, NC to deposit the daughter with the anxiuosly awaiting grandmother, and then on to MohicanLand. I'm dreading that part of the trip because we'll be so excited it'll make the journey seem SEW long!!!!

Can't wait to meet everyone, and we'll try not to get too sunburned, or jellyfish stung, or crab pinched, or fish bitten, or too full of seafood from Calabash, so that we can revel in the weekend festivities. We certainly want to be in top form for all the meeting of new people and special guests, and hiking, and movie watching, and... and... meeting special guests, and..and..you get the picture?

Only one more work day, then we're on our way!
YIPPEEEE!!!!

Diana
