Sorry I missed the party yesterday, fellow Mohicanites! I'm glad to know Sassy was there & Miss Marcia, too, I'm sure (even if she would only stand OUTSIDE Bumppo's in her ladylike, genteel fashion). As for myself, MMMMarcia, I was having THE traditional Irish birthday feast of all-you-can-eat LOBSTER! I was assured that every Irish lass celebrating her St. Paddy's Day birthday has just that very dinner! Well...okay, so it's NOT traditional St. Paddy's Day fare...but the lobster was served on a bed of shamrocks, and had a wee, little green hat affixed to his antennae. That counts, surely?? OK, OK...so I'm stretching the truth there, too. Mark DID drink green beer! It was just that the party at the local pub was WAY hectic, and we took our feeble old selves over to a quieter place for our celebration. But believe me, I had on my Erin Go Bragh pin and Mark wore his green shirt, and we said things like "Boyo," and "Faith!," and "'tis" all evening. There! St. Patrick's Day properly done, with birthday cake to boot!!

Now who's gonna take care of this mess at Bumppo's??? Miss Gaylee??? YOU started this party, without so much as a "by your LEAVE," so you need to choose your clean-up committe! Tread softly...I hear nothing makes a head hurt worse than a gallon or six of green beer!!

She-Who's-Another-Year-Older-But-Probably-No-Wiser,
MMMMarcia
