Hi Bryan --

You're right, but it's better than a dream, it's a dream come true. You've fallen into Mohican Heaven: a long time ago in a land far far away (oops, wrong movie...), where a bunch of people can get together and recite lines from the movie and people understand instead of turning glassy-eyed! Where people can dwell lovingly upon rocks trod my certain moccasined feet and be in good company!! Where we live out fantasies and everyone is jealous instead of thinking you're loony.

You should sign up now for the Gathering. Last year's (my first) was GREAT, and I'm giving up a lot to do it again -- thanks to LOTM leading me into a passion for the F&I, I've joined a Ranger unit and I'm passing up the F&I Grand Encampment at Fort Ticonderoga! But it'll be worth it. Don't miss this -- you WON'T regret it!!!

Hope to see you there (and yes, I'ld love to talk about the F&I with you),
Sarah M.

: To anyone,
: I can't believe there is a following for "The Last of the Mohicans"!! Pardon me for intruding with my flagrant ignorance, but this is excellent! I apologize, I have only had but a few moments to view this site before I go to work, but someone, email me their experience at last year's gathering, because I am seriously considering attending (if I am not too late)!!!! No one will believe this, I assure all of you, but, I selected my last two girlfriends on their likeness to "Alice" from the 1992 Michael Mann film. I habitually play the soundtrack at work, and a friend has recently taught me his rendition of "The Courier" (from the soundtrack) for solo guitar.

: Furthermore, as I am sure many of you are likely gifted, I can recite every line and reenact every movement of the movie. I just thought I was alone in my fantasy to be one of the cast. Let me know that I am not alone.

: Lastly, any of you fanatics out there who wish to converse about the Seven Year's War (or any portion of Colonial America), let me know. I am out of practice, but I recently graduated with a major in Colonial American History and I am itching to use it for something other than a desk job!

: Respectfully yours,
: Bryan
