: : : : So, lets get back to business, forget the hoo-ha, and talk GATHERING - yeah!

: : : : My regards to all, as always

: : : : Yours,

: : : Wanna talk Gathering? OK! This Trader has been busy as you can see from the photo with Rich`s note above. I`ve also been working on some really nice "lined wool Native bags" for the Trading Post. These are all hand stetched and will be decorated in an authintic 18th century manner. I`ll have a few pics to post later in the week just to wet your apetite.
: : : Then today, while driving home from 30 miles away, my oil pressure gage dropped to 0 in my new truck. I checked it out and everything seamed OK. I made it to a mechanic and it turned out the be the pressure regulator. No biggie, $85 tomorrow morning and I won`t have to cancel the trip in June.
: : : Now, I gotta get back to those bags.

: : Ooooooooh, can't wait to see them!! Well, Adele, I hope you will have plenty of wampum with you! I can see the airplanes back to the UK are gonna be HEAVY!!! I GOTTA have an authentic 18th century 'lined wool native bag'! And I gotta have an authentic...

: : Gee! I hope we're not gonna be stopped at US customs for trying to smuggle out 'authentic' colonial artifacts!! By all accounts, our French Trader's merchandise could EASILY be taken for the real thing!! OK Adele, we've got to get together and get our stories straight! And we could try bamboozling those customs guys with our accents - they can't pin anything on us, if they can't understand us!!

: : Ah well, we've got what, approximately 11 weeks to come up with something?! Meanwhile, FT, you just get a'working on those bags, so that we can carry home all our prized LOTM paraphernalia, ie. raffle prizes, souvenir key ring/boxes(?) whatever, souvenir programmes, etc. And - so glad to hear that the new truck won't be letting you down come June!!!

: : Take care, all,
: : Kate.

: Speaking of smuggling out "antique" colonial artifacts,
: the last time Doctor Mary visited the Proctor house
: on what remained of The Crucible set, she just happened
: to pick up an old, dull, beat-up ax head that was in
: the woods by the cabin. She wrapped it up carefully,
: put it in her luggage, and forgot about it until she
: tried to go through the security gate at Logan Airport.
: Imagine her surprise when the guard at the x-ray machine
: did a double-take when looking at her bag, and promptly
: motioned her to one side. "Oh!" Doctor Mary said, with
: her eyes wide in innocent astonishment. "I see you
: noticed my antique ax head!" After 10 minutes of fast
: talking, she was allowed to board her plane, ax head in
: tow. A snug t-shirt and wide hazel eyes plus an
: obviously addled but harmless demeanor can get one
: through anything!

Mary,
You will see another fine colonial piece at lunch today. Ask Bernice to show you.
