Posted - January 13 2004 : 2:27:25 PM I just was websearching, and i read somewhere where it said that in the LOTM novel Heyward was in love with...ALICE, not Cora! WOW! It also said that he asked permission from Alice's Dad to marry her and he said yes, and they married...is that true? I hope so, Heyward just needed someone to love ya know??? |

Posted - January 13 2004 : 4:03:29 PM The book and the movie have a lot of differences. The scene where they go over the falls in the canoe is not in the book Last of the Mohicans, but in one of the other books. |
