Excellent article Seamus; oh, and BTW, Lady Munro sends a big Hug & Kiss as well. I have been arguing against a 'Single-Payor' government healthcare system ever since Bill Clinton tried the to pass the same thing 15 years ago, and for exactly the same reason. To your average Leech, they think that 'Obamacare' is a great idea, just because they believe that 'others' will pay for what is essentially their own responsibility (and to those of you with with a room temperature I.Q., and your hand out, let me explain to you that healthcare is not a 'right'). These people ultimately fail to recognize is that no matter how much 'Barry' (AKA Barry Sotero, AKA Barrak Hussein Obama) and company may say, "If you like your private policy, you can keep it", they do not understand that the ultimate goal of these Cultural-Marxists is to drive the private healthcare industry out of business, and therefore make the government the sole provider, and decision-maker in all health care issues.
These same mental-midgets also do not realize that for such a large program to remain anything close to solvent, there must be rationing (since 5% of the people require 50% of current healthcare personel/assets), and unfortunately most of this rationing will be on those who are older than 55 years of age (since to the mind of a Marxist, they cannot contribute as much to the 'hive' as a younger patient could). I only wish the people will see that Medicare and Medicaid (as well as the Post Office, your state DMV, etc.) are perfect examples of governments inability to handle such specialized areas of service, due to the inefficiency which is typical of any central government.
In other words, 'Obamacare' is great, until you get sick...

I have a Medicare Advantage plan, - and it's absolutely great. To do what BO wants to do, - requires rationing health care, there's no "ifs" and or "buts" about it. They may use other terms, to avoid telling the truth, but that's what's ahead for this country. Young folks are going to benefit??? ... Most won't/don't really need insurance that often, - their real purpose in all this bs, is to pay the tab. Then as they get older, and are more likely to need/use health insurance, the rationing kicks in. Hope they get a kiss, 'cause they sure got, ....

BTW, - in case you concerned about Ted Kennedy et al, rest easy, any rationing won't apply to them. Losing sleep about how poor illegals can afford heath care, - not to worry. They're all set, you're paying for it. ;)
