I'm sure you're right Fitz, - having Madeline at a gathering would have been "interesting" to say the least. - From the site I "copy & pasted" her info from - there are some VERY INTERESTING pics of Madeline.
.
.
Madeleine Stowe sexy pictures prove she is an epitome of beauty. Born with an amazing height of 173cm, dark brown hair and deep brown eyes, Madeleine Stowe is an America Native actress. She was born as Madeleine Marie Stowe on the 18th August in 1958 in Los Angeles, California, the USA to Robert Stowe and Mireya.

Her early works include small roles and guest appearances in Television drama series Baretta and film Amazing- Spiderman. She debuted in film Gangster Wars in 1981.

Soon she was cast in a blockbuster Television made film Stakeout in the year 1987.

She came in the limelight after role and was casted in many high profile films which includes Revenge in 1990, Unlawful Entry in 1992, The Last of the Mohicans in 1992, Blink in 1993, Bad Girls in 1994, China Moon in 1994, 12 Monkeys in 1995, The General’s Daughter in 1999 and We were Soldiers in 2002.

She was entitled with The National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actress in an independent film Short Cuts in 1993.

Her other awards and allocates includes Venice film Festival in 1993, National Society of Films Critics in 1994, Golden Globe Award in 1994, Sci-Fi Universe Magazine USA in 1996, American Veterans Center in 2003, Imagen Award in 2005 and Keck School of Medicine of USA, honored her with Humanitarian Award in 2014.

She is married to Brian Benkin since 1982 and they have a child.

2004! Has it been that long? I was sorry that I missed the one with Wes Studi. That would have been good. And I am sorry we never had a Gathering that included Madeleine Stowe. That would have been better.

2004, Fitz. I had the same impressions of him. Russell was an amicable guy in person!

Michael Mann, from the tales I have been told, was not to awfully concerned with what was legal or illegal. And the authority by which Russell Means was to be prevented from going on Federal Lands would probably vary by the make up of the Supreme Court.

Never knew that he had to be smuggled onto the set - that borders on a crime. He does present himself well - but as you said - he's an actor & that goes a long way. - I've read (and still do) a lot of "first person" accounts of history - especially the "mountain-men"/trappers" era, around 1810 to about 1840ish ... Diaries/logs by men that "were there & lived that life" on a daily basis - tells you a whole different story from what you were taught about that era in school. - At those famous "yearly roundups" a number of Indian tribes came - mostly just to watch - some crazy things DID take place. - Some of those tribes would kill any trapper or anyone else if the got too close to their squaws. - While other tribes prostituted out the squaws in exchange for booze, tobacco, guns & gunpowder - that's not in any history book I've ever seen.

Interesting. He was a very articulate spokesman, but then, like Reagan, he was an actor as well. And this was only 2 years before LOTM. I heard at the Gatherings that he was "persona non grata" on Federally controlled land, so when they were filming at Linville, he had to be smuggled onto the set if there were Federal officials around.

He came to the Gathering in 2006. I remembered all the things from the '70's and I was prepared to not like him. But he really impressed me and totally changed my opinion. He was a great man.
