Hello ALL!

I wanted to drop a quick note to those of you planning on attending the 2004 Grand Mohican Gathering. I checked with the Geneva this morning and there are 15 reservations already! If you go to the Gathering page and click on the motel layout, you will see that there are only 5 King Rooms left (they are the least in price) and there are 12 Queen Rooms left AND the East Apartment (great for a mish mash of 4-6 folks!)

Sooooooo, if you haven't made your reservations already, please give the Geneva a call soon so that you may be able to reserve the best room for your fabulous week in NC next June!!! For those of you that HAVE already made reservations and let me know - THANKS SO MUCH for making my job easy!

We have a list of gals and guys that are potential roomies, so if being able to share a room would be just the thing you are waiting on, drop me an email - stricklanddi@mail.ecu.edu - and we'll find a way to get you settled in a room.

I just got back weekend before last from a WONDERFUL long weekend at the Geneva Cabins and I am about to bust to head right back to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock for the Gathering! Today Stephanie, the manager, was working hard to put the Tiki Bar down for a loooong winter's nap so it will be nice and refreshed (AND RESTOCKED) for all of us when we roooooll into town in June!

I can't wait to see everyone again and to make new acquaintances - ALWAYS a highlight of any Mohican Gathering!!!
