Poll Question:
Hello All,
It's just me, spending another vera cold winter at Fort Pitt enforcing the King's Law here in the Ohio Country. While checking the guard posts, I started thinking how good a mug of hot buttered rum would taste and then that got me to thinking about the holidays. So I ask all of you, what is your favorite holiday drink?

Of course, my vote goes to Hot Buttered Rum. I can think of no better way to 'spice-up' the King's Ration, and to warm ones insides during a cold winter eve.

I just got done posting in the Lions Den and will probably need a good cocktail.Anyway,I very rarely indulge but when I do,it is Scotch.Alot of folks ask me how can I consume that fuel oil.Well,it takes a man to do it.A Securemann! May I add that I like it straight.Johnny Walker or Dewers will suffice.

Good for you, Securemann! A SCOTCH drinker! It's not fuel oil, me friend, it's the "water of life!" I'm not much of a liquor drinker, but when I DO it's either a good Scotch or a good gin martini. As for MY holiday libation, I prefer a good DARK DARK beer or, if I must, at least a nice red ale...right about now I'd like to be crawling to the bottom of a nice pint somewhere, instead of chained to a desk!!! However, once in a while at the holidays it's also fun to have a good MULLED WINE -- wine, fruit, served hot.
