I am a sixteen year old female. I live not far from the Smoky Mountains. These mountains are what inspire me. They are so beautiful. When I visit them, the neverending appetite in my soul is satisfied and I find peace. I have only ever achieved that through music and nothing else.

Basically, I was the creative/gothy kid and every other student shat on me. I hated school with a passion and was removed to be homeschooled when I was 13. It saved my life. I had been suicidal and visiting a psychiatrist (who, if anything, worsened my life)and it was great to be away from all of the persecution.

I love art, music, writing, movies, Tolkien, Anne Rice, horses, cats... I am an aspiring actress, director, screenwriter, horsewoman and I want to learn kung fu.

Let me tell you about my art and what I like to draw: I mostly just sketch and occasionally use colored pencils. I have been experimenting with veil painting and am going to learn watercolor, because John William Waterhouse is one of my favorite artists. I draw faeries mostly, but have been drawing alot of women lately. Other artists I love are Brian Froud, Kandinsky, Gustav Klimt, and Boris Vallejo (sp?).

I love so many different types of music. The music I prefer, of course, is the kind that stirs my soul. Enya, Lorenna Mckinnit (sp?), Clannad, Switchblade Symphony, Enigma, trance, ambience, techno. And, of course, the LOTM soundtrack. I also like Metallica, System of a Down, Nine Inch Nails.... I also want to learn the fiddle so I can play that wonderful LOTM piece!

Writing... I have written a script for a horror/fantasy movie. I also want to work on a horror type Alice in Wonderland. Something kindo of trippy and surreal. I have also started a fantasy epic about a *surprise* fantasy world.

All I'm gonna talk about here is movies I like, because I am starting to feel like an egomaniac . Top movies I love to death: Last of the Mohicans, Natural Born Killers, Highlander, Schindler's List, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the FIRST Matrix movie, Legend, Pirates of the Caribbean, Legends of the Fall, The Fifth Element, The 13th Warrior, Interview with the Vampire... I like alot of movies. I like anything with a good soundtrack, kick ass characters, emotion, and swords and guns.

I am definately not some little prissy romance-loving chic. I like guns and swordfights and violence as well as the next guy. I do not like it when people tell me to be a lady!

Anyway, I hope you can accept me because I really like it here. Please, everybody, tell me about yourselves!

Hi FM,
It is great to have you with us!!! My name is Kay and I am 46 years old, been married to a great guy for 28 years and I have a 20 year old son.
I love alot of the movies that you mentioned, except for "Interview With a Vampire" and I have never seen "The 13th Warrior" and "Schindler's List."
Take care and please post often. This is one of the best groups that I have ever been in and I know that you will love it here!!!

Well, another of very tender years! (Dillon1836 is about your age)

You sound like a very interesting young lady. It is unusual for one so young to know herself so very well. I had not come to terms with myself like that until I was well into my adult years. I salute your very wise parents for pulling you out of a very dangerous life situation. I salute you for realizing that you now have something much, much better going for you.

Regarding music... yes, it can stir you to the depths of your soul. If you are open to finding other genres of music that will do that, may I suggest that you open yourself to classical music? You are bound to find lots there that will do that very thing!

Welcome!

P.S. I agree with Rich... love your Mohicanland name! It shows your creative talents.

P.P.S. You can find out a bit more about me in my profile.

"It is more deeply stirring to my blood than any imaginings could possibly have been."
