I've always gotten along with the Major, and I am a left wing social-democrat from Holland 
It's just my opinion, but, don't feel like you have to watch your tongue in any kind of way. It's the free world we are residing in (or so we are told), and therefore, free speech. However, you do have an opinion, be prepared to back it up!
