Hi all. This is Ariel Segal, posting after a long semester as a teaching assistant is finally done. I am hoping to come to the gathering subject to my progress on the pesky master's thesis
I was just wondering; I need to be back at the Geneva Friday by (ideally) 7:45 and 8:30 at the very latest. Anyone planning to skip part of the latter stuff (Lake James etc?)

Be well.

Sincerely, Ariel

HI ARIEL!!!

Not to worry! There are always several folks that head on back to CR after Table Rock. I will certainly be one of them in that I'll have MUCH cooking to tend to Friday evening.

Lake James to me, when I first viewed it (1993 - pre-Gatherings and pre-Forest growth) was one of the most recognizable areas of the film - probably because I lived about two miles from there as a tike. So for first timers, make sure to catch the Soldier #2 recap of filming there!!!!

All is well with me, Ariel. I graduate myself in May (YAHOO), so I know the travails of moving from one semester to another. On to graduate school in the fall for me too!! Keep your nose to the grindstone so we can see you in June!!!

Actually, Ariel, you might even be able to do the whole day and still make your 8:30 deadline. Might.

But, as GG says, there'll be bunches breaking off after Linville Falls in the afternoon. Maybe only a third of all Gatherers make it all the way to Lake James! Last year, we skipped it to be better able to get the Raffles underway in a timely fashion. No such restriction this year.

See you then!
