I went to college in the state of Utah and stayed there to live after college, and then I lived there again a decade later. The wilderness lands of Utah are beautiful and deserve to be protected.

There is a proposal to start natural gas drilling in this area. The Parks system was not consulted on this matter. To oppose this destruction of the area, sign the petition.

To find and sign the petition to preserve the wilderness lands of Redrock in Utah, you can just look online at the message by Robert Redford on YouTube and there is another link to BioGems, NRDC, Natural Resources Defense Council. This needs to be petitioned prior to December 19th, the proposed signing date. Previously you could find this sponsored on the Care2 website for two weeks also.
