I'm finding this hard to believe, but 40 years ago today Pauline and I got hitched! For our honeymoon, we went camping! For our 40th, we've gone (you guessed it) camping!

| Congratulations! 40 years, that is a milestone! Nothing like camping to rejuvenate the romance! |

No, MG, not much more sleep, but for a different reason: it HURTS to get older! And that's why, Irish, we're not so sure about putting in another 40; since we're in such pain after the 1st XL, well, you get the picture...
Caitlin, I don't know about camping being a rejuvenator of romance, but I do know that colon cancer and rheumatoid arthritis surely don't help this a whole lot.
Hey, I'm just kidding you guys; we're having a great and relaxing time up here. It's a darned sight better than being home in that 105 degree weather, I'll tell ya! |

| Congrats Obi. Another inspiring story that people can stay together forever. |

Well, my wife and I will be married 41 years this summer, on the 4th of July. So for the anniversary, I have planned a trip to Niagara. Old Fort Niagara, that is. And since she does not do anything in the way of reenacting, I will be going by myself. But it's the thought that counts, right? |

Happy anniversary, Obi and Mrs. Obi!
Where did you go camping? My parents took their honeymoon at Yosemite back in November of 1945. I don't think they camped, though. I think they stayed in the lodge. |

WW - our current camping is at Bass Lake, about 20 mi S of Yosemite. Our honeymoon was near Grant Grove in Sequoia/Kings Canyon NP.
MG - I believe that's selectively hard of hearing. |
