From WLOS TV:

Emergency crews rescued a stranded hiker on steep terrain on the north side of Hickory Nut Gorge, across from Chimney Rock State Park early Sunday morning. Officials say the hiker was alert and does not have life-threatening injuries.

More restrictions on the way?
