I watched the video from 2007 about the training for the film. Where was the location for this training? It looks like it could have been at Massacre Valley.

I saw one building, but I did not recognize it. I asked Eric Hurley and he said he thought it was the Asheville firefighter training facility. Don't know where that is (or was at the time). Too much has changed in that area.

Yeah, I wasn't quite sure. Now that I think about it, I recall riding with Eric at Biltmore Estate. He was showing me the place a scene was shot with the 35th as a unit firing volleys with a heavy low-hanging fog settling around them. He was disappointed that it never made it into the film. I think that's what I was thinking of. The Firefighter facility sounds right.
