It's getting close to the time for the Grandfather Mt. Highland Games, and to get there i go through Marion, NC. I guess I will see then. Also, I liked to go to Louise's Famous Rockhouse Restaurant near Linville. I wonder how it made out. It was a stopping point for the Mohican Gatherers.

I made out fine. Minor damage from the refrigerator defrosting, leaking, and messing up some tiles on the kitchen floor. The town did fairly well, too, except for an area near the river that flooded badly [as it does often]. The parking lots of the businesses were covered in deep mud. Wendy's and McDonald's just reopened recently.
