I finally got around to watching these videos. They are good. This is a very interesting area. I went to Crown Point a number of years and I would love to spend more time there than just a few days at an event.

I found those vids "interesting" from a different POV - maybe. - One vid says/shows how the Native Indians (Abenaki) marked their trails - using small "stone piles". - A number of years ago, (when I was much younger) I did a lot of hiking, mostly in the Monadnock Region. - "Occasionally" while "out in the woods" quite a bit - I saw stones piled together & wondered WHO the hell did that??? - Maybe it was simply other hikers & maybe they (the stones) had been there for a looong time - never know.

I love to find things like that. Around here we have petroglyphs created by the Cherokee (or their predecessors) that are really interesting. But also, years ago, I was shown some pictographs painted on the sides of a rock shelter on the condition (NPS) that I would not reveal the location. They were worn, but seemed to represent the seven Cherokee clans. I hope no one found them. There was some modern graffiti on other rocks inn the area.
