: : Hello Courier Editors,
: : Thought I should let you know that I have taken Ching's wise lessons to heart: "Know your enemy. Once identified, the foe can be eradicated with no further trouble." All is well again in Mohicanland. The cunning and conniving Coureur du Bois aka French Trader has been crushed and pounded to dust with some well planted plastic bombs. The same bombs, which will be on sale for the coming days to celebrate my victory.
: : Now all that is left to clean up is some character called Colonial Joe, and the annoying return of the Gamut type. Peanuts, of course...
: : Yours sincerely,
: : The Dutch Trader
: Monsieur Dutch Trader
: I regret to inform you that your dispatchs were intercepted in the forest and the message you recieved is false. I am alive and well ,unlike your couriers. I still have in my possession the wampum choker and sash in question mon ami.
: Remember that I am but a shadow in the forest like my native brothers so let the game begin.
: Your Antagonist,
: The French Trader
Greetings To Two Sides Of The Same Coin,
This is true. Your dispatch was intercepted in the forest. However, if it makes you feel any better we have received
another dispatch. It appears one of your mercenaries escaped the forest with scalp intact. Wishing to receive his Dutch Guilders, he followed your orders and did indeed "crush and pound into dust" an unsuspecting trader. Unfortunately, it was not the French Trader/Coureur de Bois! A small technicality, 'tis true, for which he expects his pay. The French Trader yet lives and remains in business.
E. Lane and Rich Fed send this dispatch:
"Meet us at Cameron's Cabin. Not to worry, mon ami, no one is home. Bring the wampum!"
Is there to be war?
