Ohme, Oh my! *cough* This fowl bronchitis has sure got me under the weather. Thank goodness for my friends here in Mohicanland. Without them, I don't know what a poor duck would do. *wheeze...sniff* I'm just too tired to quack, and too achey all over to squack. The good Dr. Well Bee has been by, though, and has given me this wonderful honey poultice & poultry rub for my little duckie chest, and I must admit, it does feel good to have it soaking into my feathers. However, this fever has given me chills all mornin'...why lookit these duckbumps all over me! Not to mention that I'm lookin' pretty blue in the beak. *coughcough...sneeeeeeeze!* Dr. Well Bee says there's nothing like fresh air & sunshine to cure what ails a duckie, so I think I'll go sit outside in the warm August air (with a cozy quilt from Miss Katie's O'Arbroath's Quilt Shoppe wrapped around my wings, of course) and see if it helps me feel more like my old hysterical self.
Aaaaaahhhhhhhh...yes! Why that sun is warmin' up my old wishbone right smartly. I'll just snuggle down in this straw nice & comfy here. Ummmmmmm...what a delicious odor that honey poultry poultice has as the sun beams down upon it. Smells nice and sweeeeeeet...*small cough*....and it's soooooooo peaceful here......I'm sure the sky won't fall this afternoon....I'm really quite cozy and sleeeeepy. *sigh* A little nap wouldn't hurt at all...probably juuuuust what Dr. Well Bee would recommend....*teeensy, drowsy quackle*....yes, a naaaap...so peaceful...so sweeeeeet smelling.....so....so....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
