catching up

To all who have posted re the Gathering: I've just spent an enjoyable hour and a half catching up on messages and photos (haven't visited my computer for three days). I was happy to hear so many mentioning next year's event - would love to be one of the attendees! Also enjoyed being able to match faces to names I've seen for the two months I've visited here.

Champ, spent some time a few days ago on the Southern Cherokee link but still have much to read there. Yesterday I visited a museum that had a temporary photo exhibit called "Moving the Fire". Focused on members of tribes relocated to OK. I live close to the sites of Prophetstown and Battle of Tippecanoe. If Tecumseh had been successful in uniting the tribes. . .? Would like to read some historians' opinions.
