Happy Halloween!

Here in Marion, the city council elected to have "trick or treat" on Saturday ... so, it's over now!

And, Marcia, here in our house, we DID forget to change the time! I totally forgot! It wasn't until I looked at my computer that it was drummed in to me ... oh well, no harm done. Made it to Mass anyway!

Around the site ... updates on the Gathering 2000 & Killdeer pages, as well as some minor tinkering in the "Off The Beaten Trail" Section. Many have asked, and we FINALLY have obliged (thanks to Major Bray), for a history bibliography. By no means complete, it's a very good jumping off point! It's in the tail end of the History Section.

Two things we have previously mentioned are not quite here yet, but will be soon. One is a "Northern Trading Post," featuring jewelry & works by various artists from the North Country ... Canada. One of the items to be offered are the very lovely Inukshuk earrings we talked of ... other good stuff, too! The second is Sarah M.'s fantastic look into the music of LOTM ... this full-length exploration will include interview segments with the composers, etc., photos, sound clips, and more ... Very in-depth. We're sure it will be something you'll enjoy!

Speaking of music, we've received permission, directly from Dougie MacLean, to use his version of "The Gael" on our Web Site ... we'll have it for you soon! For those who have never heard it, it begins in drastically different fashion than you are used to, before blossoming into the fiddle-style of LOTM.

We are happy that the Book Club seems to be getting off the ground. Sounds like fun. I expect that at some point, I'd like to join you in the reading/discussions. If I can ONLY find the time ...

Well, to all the Docs & Gnomes & Fairies and other inhabitants of MohicanLand ...

Happy Halloween AND Trails!

PS - Norm seems a bit shy about actually posting his pic ... so ... that's him above!
