You have NO idea what's happened in New Hampshire. Lefties from Mass. have moved here in droves to escape Mass. taxes, drugs, crime - you name it. We have no state income tax, no sales tax, no bottle, no seat belt law for anyone under 18. It was a absolutely great place to live. We "used to score" in the top 10 states for local education. Nashua was name the top place to live nationally twice by some magazine that tracks that stuff, crime, education, health - etc., etc. ... These "Mass. immigrants" aren't bright enough to connect the dots - and keep voting the same way they did in Mass. We now have a leftie in Congress and the Senate, the local politics now is very much like that sewer across the border, - Lowell, Mass. We have drugs, crime, cars speeding downtown, you need an interpreter to buy a coffee, taxes taking off, - and all thanks to folks bringing with them - what they were trying desperately to escape. They've ruined the southern part of New Hampshire.
.
What's that definition of insanity? .... Doing the same thing over and over, - and expecting a different result.

you can keep "The Change"

Yep, it's everywhere - the need to run away from the Frankenstein you've helped create and then just dragging the monster along with you anyway. It's like all the people from MD and Washington coming up around us. Now we have more housing developments where you can't tell which house is yours even if you tried, more strip malls, more gas stations, more super this and that. All because they want to get away from the city and then are to lazy to live the old way and walk or drive a little farther to get what they need from the stores downtown and the local grocery store. Nope they've got have fast and convenient because heaven help them to get some exercise and stop and smell the roses. So, the circle starts again and they create exactly what they left behind before. Maybe I should move to Canada - my family always teases about escaping to PEI!

MG, The fact that these new arrivals still continue in the same politics which ruined the place that they fled from, does not suprise me at all. To vote conservative, one must be able to do a little research, and analytical thinking, in addition to having a work ethic, a strong sense of self-reliance, and a deep love of individual liberty. For most people on the other side, any or all of those requirements often prove too much, since it runs counter to their 'Hive/Group Politics', which is where their comfort zone resides.

Kay, I think you should save your gas money, since it is the Democrats plan to have 'Canada' (or 'Europe' for that matter, since it is all the same Socialist / Entitlement mindset) move here!

I'm currently reading Mark Levin's book Liberty and Tyranny. I'm only on the third chapter, but already, I feel as if I have put on a pair of glasses and can really "see" what is happening to our country. Has anyone else read it?

I highly recommend it for anyone who is unsure of how they feel about the current climate of 'repression' as he calls it.

Wake up America! These calculated, very gradual changes are dismantling the country that we all love!

I've finished that book a few weeks ago, and I also have found it a very informative and worthwhile read.
