Well, I'll be ...
As you may have noticed, the Board has been a bit flaky over this past weekend. My hosting service had some tinkering to do with the database which contains all the posts, etc. from this board. It is on a SQL server - apart from the rest of the web site. Anyway, there was some misfiring, on Friday night, I believe, as they were trying to move it to a newer server. Some posts disappeared.
Then, they had it squared away, they thought, but then it all crashed and they had to restore it from a backup. Thus, those initial missing posts are back, but everything posted over the weekend is gone. Gotta love these computers!! 
I do believe the issue is resolved and stable, so it all should be good to go now. Post away and sorry for any inconvenience!!

Thanks for the update, Sachem! I thought that first post about Friday's events was long gone and I was safe. Thinking that Soldier #2 never checked the message board, I posted something about him talking until dark  haha and wouldn't you know it, he read the message board that night so I caught heck the next day. Much to my delight, that post later disappeared and I was able to re-post it and say that Soldier #2 didn't talk nearly long enough and we could have stayed at the lake much longer (trying to dig my way out)! Just when I thought the evidence of the first post was gone and I was all clear, it shows back up. Wouldn't ya know it!
Soldier #2 knows I'm kidding... we all love his stories, even after an 18-hour day.  |
