So, private messages are private, right? Right. However, the same rules more or less apply. Civility.

Private feuding is not what they are for.

It has come to my attention that is what is going on in some instances. Cause? The Eric Schweig Mystique thread.

That thread was locked - by me - partially because the thread was not on its intended course [yes, I do admit to having less patience in these matters when it comes to that topic - due to many, many bad past experiences], but mostly because it had the effect of prompting a member to leave. The thread was causing more harm than good.

So please understand, the locking of the thread was not an invitation to take it behind the scenes. Not here, anyway.

Cooperation appreciated.
