Well, now.... whaddya know? I ain't the only one out there!

This is very interesting. So.... let's see..... I could do pretty well with the "water fetching" -- my experience as a Water Molly on the field, and a water hauler in camp, can serve me well there. I can do fairly well with the "wood hauling" -- although the guys usually do most of that, I have carried my share of wood in camp. "Beverage opening" -- I wonder if my prowess with a corked Port bottle would assist me there? Now... the "moose dispatching" -- I may have to work on that one a bit.

Hmmm.... I wonder if they have a Senior Wilderness Woman Division?

Yes, it does! And that is why I wondered about the "older" category!

Purely a guess of course, - but I'd say the "beverage opening" is probably beer related.

I don't know gals, I might be a bit afraid of those Alaskan men. I think they still grab their women by the hair and drag them to their lair. A bit of a rough crowd but worth investigating

Really? You think so? Hmmmmmm.....

Perhaps I had better go back to that website and look again for that Senior Division.

If you check the site, it looks like quite a little town. The link to the Alaskan Railway is really interesting, ... could make for a great vacation.

I will do that. I did see the photo on their page of what I assume must be Mt. McKinley. Looks absolutely gorgeous, just from that one photo.

Someday, I hope to get "North To Alaska!"

It does look like a beautiful place to visit. I seen under the pics link that they have a Moose Dropping Festival. That sounds very interesting! Not to mention the curiosity as to how it got that name

Yes indeed Blackfoot, - didn't see that one. Probably much like the dead Cod races in Maine.
