Out of the characters in LOTM...which one, if you were out in the wilderness with them...would you fall in love with and be most attracted to?? In other words, who would be your love match?? heh heh. This topic should be fun! lol.

As for myself, I think you all know who I would be in love with. UNCAS! Oh! To be held by him under the falls like that and to be the person recieving THOSE looks!! I would be in heaven!

Hey, UncasLover!
I agree with you whole heartedly! I remember when I first saw the movie that Uncas was my favorite. And more recently, I've seen Eric Schweig in a few other movies and thought he was a pretty good actor. He's grown a lot since that part, and even though he's older and stouter, he's still "got it"! But wasn't he Nasty in "The Missing"? I liked him much better in "Skins".

Uncas, for me. I have a meek personality akin to Alice's. Uncas's strong but tender personality is just right for me. Plus, Eric Schweig as Uncas is possibly the most beautiful man I have every seen!
Hawkeye and Cora are a good match because both have strong personalities. I think a meek personality would be intimidated by Hawkeye. Think about his sarcastic remarks to Duncan. A meek wife would be cut to shreds during a arguement. Cora could stand up to him, but Alice-types would be crushed. Uncas strikes me as someone who would walk away when he's angry, instead of verbally lashing out;then return when he's cooled off.--PS

The Marquis de Montcalm. He reminds me of my favorite French film director I'd cast myself as a glamourous British spy and seduce him to infiltrate the French intelligence.
