The redbuds are flowering here in south-central PA. I used to look at them and simply think that it was nice to see that lovely color in a woodland setting. Now I want to laugh out loud every time I see one, just as I did the first time I read the exclamation "Redbud!" whispered by a dying man in the MacWilliam Chronicles. "Will they acknowledge 'Citizen Kane,'" I wondered. Sure enough, they did! And if this post makes no sense to you, you'll just have to read the Chronicles. Thanks again, guys.
